 BEGINNER BEAR
COST OF WORKSHOP: 10 hour course R750.00 (includes kit)

Duration 10 hour workshop
Lin is a needle felted Anime teddy bear. She has her very own handbag which will also be made.
Duration 7 hours
ADVANCED NEEDLE FELTED MUZZLE,TEETH,AND PAW PADS
Duration: 16 hours
In this workshop you will be taught how to build up a muzzle using needle felting techniques. Also included is the felting of the pawpads and nose.
TEDDY BEAR WITH A NEEDLE FELTED MUZZLE
Duration:8 hours
In this workshop you will be taught how to build up a muzzle with needle felting techniques.Also included is how to attach eyes and embroider a nose when working with roving.
NEEDLE FELTED BUNNY
Duration:8 hours
In
this class you will learn the basics ofneedle felting. Your bunny
will be thread jointed, eyes will be inserted, and you have the option
of felting or embroidering his nose.
You
will purchase a kit which contains all the is required for
making the bunny. If stainless steel pellets are added this will be an
EXTRA cost.
NEEDLE FELTED MINI TEDDY BEAR
Duration:8 hours
This course is on offer on the same day as the needle felted bunny. A one day exciting bear course.In
this class you will learn the basics of dry needle felting. Your bunny
will be thread jointed, eyes will be inserted, and you have the option
of felting or embroidering his nose.
You
will be provided with a kit which contains all the is required for
making the bunny. If stainless steel pellets are added this will be an
EXTRA cost.
NEEDLE FELTED GOLLY
Duration:8 hours
In
this one day workshop you learn the basics of needle felting. You purchase a kit containing all the materials. In this class you
will also learn how to wax the nose. Golly is thread jointed and
stainless steel pellets can be added to give him more weight.

FULLY JOINTED MINI BEAR
Duration:8 hours

In
this one day workshop you learn how to make a 2-3" teddy bear. This
bear is fully jointed, has class eyes inserted and an embroidered nose.
You will also learn how to wax the nose, insert either glass beads or
stainless steel pellets. The fabric that will be used is SASSY (USA)
mini bear fabric (does not fray) and you will be able to choose your
own color for your mini bear.
(The class does not include the making
of the dungarees, however I do have a full range of knitting patterns
with wool and needles which can be purchased to make your own clothing)
THE PERFECT NOSE
Duration:4 hours
In
this class you will be shown how to embroider the perfect nose and how
to get good results when waxing the nose. We will make a bear's head in
the class as the perfect nose starts from the cutting out of the
pattern and stuffing.
CLOTH DINKY-DIMPLES DOLL
Duration:8 hours
In
this class you will be shown how to make your very own cloth doll.
Dimples measures approx 14" when finished. You will also have the
option of learning how to sew her, her own party dress.You will require a sewing machine to stitch the doll in the class.
Hair can either be felted or glued on.

- Open mouth teddy bear-inserted mouth plus inserting teeth includes the materials to make the teeth.
- Log Cabin quilt for your bear to sit on
- Smocked dress for your bear to wear. A good selection of antique laces, Nottingham laces,and fabric are for sale.
Students in previous workshops
This was a mini bear class- first time in bear making for 3 students while the 4th student had made a few bears.

Thank
you so much for a most interesting and inspiring day spent making
Billy! Thank you especially for staying so late to help us to all
finish our bears. I would have been devastated if I had had to come
home with "half a bear"!! However, your help was over and above the
call of duty so an enormous thank you.
I
have seen Janet Changfoot's bears and never in my wildest dreams did I
ever think that I would actually make a bear myself - your expert help,
guidance, advice and so many helpful tips were fantastic and now that I
am home and have had supper, I am already thinking about maybe trying
another bear!
I have just looked at your website and seen the amazing bears that you have made - they are gorgeous.
I
hope that I may have another opportunity to make a bear with you
sometime in the future and hopefully will be a little more adept next
time.

Just
a quick note to say thank you so much for a really lovely day. We all
enjoyed it thoroughly. My bear was lovely although I was a little
disappointed with the end result but I think I should have used a cream
roving. Nevertheless I enjoyed it so much and am thrilled with all the
possibilities and I am sure my next one will probably look totally
different. I am looking forward to “playing” some more.
