I have been collecting Antique Christening Gowns and have some stunning ones. The many hours of work that has gone into these gowns make them all suitable to be added to your collection.
They can be displayed on either a teddy bear or reborn doll.
As these gowns are old, some extremely old, they will not be in perfect condition and could have a small darn or stain.
A small stitch near the neck seam, either in red or blue, normally indicates how many times the gown had been used for a baby.
The jerseys and dresses that I sell are all hand made and of a very high standard.With my "bear" travels around the world, I have collected a range of fabrics not available in South Africa.
